Adult Classes

Class Information​

This course will introduce a range of pottery skills in a relaxed, supportive environment.

 

Participants will explore key hand-building techniques, including coiling, pinching and slab building.

​

The course also provides opportunities to try throwing on the wheel with guidance on centring and basic shaping techniques. ​​ 

​

Towards the end of the course participants will be introduced to different glazing options for their pieces. 

​

Fee will demonstrate a specific technique for everyone to try, however participants are welcome to work on an independent project and explore their own creative ideas.

Class Times

Mondays 10am - 12pm and 6.30pm - 8.30pm

Tuesdays 7-9pm  (Tuesday 17th November class will take place on Wednesday 18th November)

Thursdays 7-9pm ​

Session Details​

• Small Groups: Maximum of 8 students per class.

• Materials: Clay, tools, glazes and firing are included.
